Raise the Cap
The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund (NOSF) is hosting its 6th annual Raise the Cap Event on Thursday, June 7 at Fifth Third Field, to help raise funds for scholarships.
NOSF awards need-based scholarships for students to attend a private school or be homeschooled for grades K-8. NOSF has awarded over 14,700 scholarships to children in northwest Ohio since 1999. This school year there were 670 scholarships totaling $630,000 awarded for kids to attend Private schools.
Raise the Cap guests will enjoy a fun evening with Toledo’s favorite Mud Hens as they take on the Buffalo Bisons.
The event will be held in The Roost (enter on St. Clair Side) of the stadium that overlooks the field.

Opportunity for School Choice Challenge Grant Awarded
The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund (NOSF) has been awarded a grant from the Richland County Foundation to assist NOSF in cultivating and acquiring new donors from Richland County as well as fund current scholarships. New donations received after November 1, 2017 until May 1, 2018 from contributors in Richland County will be matched. There are 29 students attending private schools including St. Mary of the Snow, Mansfield Christian, St. Peter School, and St. Mary School Shelby for the 2017-2018 school year on a NOSF scholarship.
